The Senior Women’s National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy is the premier women's state competition in India. The first edition of the annual tournament was held in Manipur in 1992. All affiliated State Associations of the AIFF are eligible to participate in the Rajmata Jijabai Trophy, which is played on league-cum-knockout basis.
Manipur have been the most dominant side in the history of the Senior Women’s National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy, staggeringly winning 22 out of the 28 editions so far. West Bengal and Tamil Nadu have won two titles each, while Odisha and Railways have been champions once.
Manipur are the most recent champions, beating Haryana 2-0 in the 2023-24 final in Kolkata.
