About - AIFF Masters Program

The AIFF Masters program is the first of its kind -- a National Sports Federation-led Football Management Program run by the All India Football Federation, in association with La Liga club Cádiz CF (Cádiz Club de Fútbol). This arrangement enables students in the Program to study in multiple cities across India, and Cádiz (Spain).

AIFF Masters provides students with complete hands-on experiential training on every aspect of football in India and abroad. Candidates will be given an experience of live tournaments, match staging, clubs and team management, data management and analysis, leadership and project management skills, contractual and legal obligations, sponsorship marketing and business communication.

The Program provides students with a structured insight into the governance of world football as laid down in FIFA and AFC statutes and an understanding of the plethora of rules and regulations for managing football in India.

It is also in line with best practices across the world including player status and competition regulations, terms of reference and functioning of standing and judicial committees, finance and budgetary control, integrity, anti-racism and anti-doping regulations.

The flagship program will be producing Football Managers with world-class management skills to work towards the growth of the sport in the country. The program lays special emphasis on inculcating critical concepts and strategies paramount to move towards the right direction, especially in the post COVID-19 world.

Key Features of AIFF Masters

The program offers exclusive and rare learning insights into the operations of a top European Football Club – Cádiz CF, by allowing students to live and work at the Club for a month.
Learning under various Head of Departments of All India Football Federation at the Football House, Delhi for a month.
The program will also provide an understanding of the social, cultural, and legal aspects of football and the required skills to work in a global football fraternity.

Do I require a background studying/working in sport?

No. Individuals from all backgrounds are welcome. We are here to help build the foundation of individuals wanting to start a career in sport.
Who can apply?

Students of undergraduate degrees in any fields are allowed to apply for the program.
What is the criteria for selection?

Performance in the CAT and Personal Interview are the twin components of selection for the Program.

Why does Indian Football need such a program?

Over the past decade, the penetration of Football has become ubiquitous at every level of educational, social and economic strata of Indian Society. An offshoot of this feverish adoption of Football has been the proliferation of teams, clubs, coaches, academies and leagues.

It has thus become imperative for the Governing body of Football in India to train and skill high-functioning football managers to facilitate this growth optimally and to scale the value proposition of the sport at all levels.

Hence, this Program aims to propagate the contemporary and cutting-edge strategies and techniques in use around the world in planning, research, marketing and assessment of Football.
This 52-week hands-on, practical program takes the Vocational Education route to ensure that knowledge is not only learned but also applied by the Candidates throughout the year.

Fees And Support

What are the fees of the program? What does it include?

The fees, which include complete tuition fees including the cost of attending events is Rs. 12,71,187. An 18% GST is applicable on this fee bringing the total fee payable to Rs.15 lacs. The four-week Cadiz CF Immersion Trip to Spain is optional. The fee structure for the same is €5,000, which is directly payable to Cadiz CF two months before departure. Airfare, visa, and travel insurance will be directly borne by the Candidate Manager.
Does AIFF provide help with education loans?

Yes. Student loans will be facilitated by our office upon successfully gaining admission into the Program. We are here to ensure that a candidate’s desire to carve out a career in football is not stymied by lack of funds.
