An exceptionally crafty midfielder, Karthika Angamuthu hails from Salem, Tamil Nadu, where she took up football quite late – at the age of 15. Karthika’s parents are mill workers but the encouragement was always there for her to dream big. Her performances in the 2019-20 Hero Indian Women’s League earned her a slot in the Senior Women’s National team.
