The centre back from Goa is one of the most experienced players in the National Team squad at the moment, along with the likes of Ashalata Devi and Sweety Devi. Castanha was a regular fixture at the back for Gokulam Kerala in the 2018-19 Hero IWL, where she helped her side reach the semifinal of the competition.
