Born and brought up in the north-eastern state of Manipur, Chinglensana Singh is a formidable centre-back and looks set to be part of the heart of the Indian defence for many years to come. His consistent growth was noticed by everyone in the Indian Football circuit. Fondly known by his teammates as 'Sana', he made his international debut in on 25th March 2021 against Oman.
Chinglensana Singh started his club career in 2016, playing for Shillong Lajong in the Hero I-League. Following his spell and improvement there, Sana moved to Delhi Dynamos on loan before switching to FC Goa until 2020. In September 2020, Sana departed the Gaurs and joined Hyderabad FC in the Hero ISL.
