The new kid on the block for the Indian Football Team, Akash Mishra was born in 2001 in Uttar Pradesh. He has started his career playing as a left-back and will be looking to make a mark on the national team.

Akash started his footballing education with the U Dream Football Academy in Germany at the age of 14. The talented defender returned to India in 2018, when the Indian Arrows came calling. He made his professional debut during the 2018-19 season with the Indian Arrows in the I-League. In 2020, Hero ISL side Hyderabad FC convinced the youngster to sign for them.

A strong debut Hero ISL campaign for Akash led to his maiden call up to the Senior Men's National Team camp for the friendlies against Oman and UAE. Akash made his Blue Tigers debut on 25th March 2021 against Oman. Akash was also a part of the 2019 SAFF U-18 Championship winning team for India.
