NEW DELHI: The Indian U-15 National Team on their exposure tour in Thailand clashed against Port FC U-15s and won 7-1 today (August 04, 2018).

The Indian colts had taken the lead in the early minutes of the match when in the 15^th minute Shubho’s fantastic run saw his dribble past a couple of defenders and find Sridarth in the box. The latter bundled the ball home to give India a solitary goal lead.

Five minutes later, Sridarth beat the onrushing custodian with a long shot but some last second defending by the opposition resulted in a goal line clearance as the opposition survived the attack.

In the 25^th minute, Sridarth connected by a cross from Maheson and tapped home to double India’s advantage. In the 35^th minute, an own goal by Port FC coupled by a 44^th minute Shubho strike meant that India went into the tunnel at half-time leading by a comfortable scoreline of 4-0.

Changing over, the Indian colts maintained control of the second half but goals in quick successions added more gloss to the scoreline. In the 69^th minute Maheson found the net and Himanshu added more to India’s tally in the 70^th and 73^rd minute, the opponents found the net in the dying embers of the match to make the full-time scoreline read 7-1.
