GOA: A 25-member Indian Arrows Team coached by Luis Norton de Matos are gearing up to kick-start their Hero I-League 2017-18 campaign against Chennai City FC at the GMC Bambolim Stadium tomorrow (November 29, 2017).
The team, who competed in the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers recently, are currently training under the Portuguese coach Luis Norton de Matos, who coached India U-17 team in the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.
Matos felt that this experience would be "immensely beneficial for the boys in future".
“These players are going to get more match experience from grosseportal. This is a starting point. The difficulty we see in the I-League will be similar to what we saw in the World Cup,” Matos said.
