# About the Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated and solution-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the execution of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) and its sub-projects, including academy operations, talent identification and recruitment, and performance systems. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and operations & project management skills to ensure smooth coordination and alignment with strategic objectives.  This role may involve regular travelling to ensure the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead daily operations of the FIFA TDS, ensuring timely implementation and adherence to project goals. 
• Collaborate with academies, regional associations and governments to drive initiatives related to academy processes, talent scouting, and performance monitoring. 
• Develop operational plans for sub-projects and integrate them into the overall TDS framework. 
• Track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs) and escalate challenges to the Project Manager. 
• Plan and execute workshops, trials, and training programs to enhance talent development pathways. 
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and prepare reports on project updates, challenges, and recommendations. 

Who Should Apply? 

We’re looking for candidates who have: 

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or football development. 
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders. 
• Ability to analyze data, track progress, and drive solutions for operational challenges. 
• Proficiency in Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management.

Preference:

• A strong understanding of academy operations, scouting, and performance systems in football.
• Experience of football administration at AIFF Member Associations or Clubs
• Experience of working in Youth development projects, especially with football associations/federations/confederations
• Understanding of Project Management tools
