Position Summary:
The HR Manager at the All India Football Federation will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent to support its mission of promoting and developing football across India. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR practices within the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for various positions within the organization.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and proactively source candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, and professional networks.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and facilitate the selection process to ensure the recruitment of suitable candidates.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity. • Organize and oversee employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities to foster a positive work culture.
Training and Development:
• Identify training needs across the organization and develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
• Coordinate with external training providers to deliver specialized training sessions on topics such as leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and performance improvement. • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and track employee development progress.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Manage the organization's compensation and benefits structure, ensuring it remains competitive and aligns with industry standards.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
• Conduct regular benchmarking exercises to assess the competitiveness of the organization's compensation package.
HR Policies and Compliance:
• Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. • Monitor and address any issues related to compliance, ethics, and workplace conduct.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
*Proven experience in HR management with at least 8 years of experience, preferably within the sports industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
*Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
