All India Football Federation is looking for an experienced Sports medicine team physician to manage the India senior and U17 women National Team. Selected candidate will assist the respective team’s training programs and manage the team’s training/match activities to help create a competitive and winning team.

Key Deliverables:

1	Providing medical advice and treatment plans Monitoring athletes' health and performance Organizing medical screenings and health assessments Liaising with team coaches, trainers, and other medical staff Maintaining medical record Timely rehabilitation for injured athletes, monitor recovery plans and return to sport, consistent with evidence established protocols. Examining and diagnosing medical conditions of team athletes.
2	Facilitate the collection of athlete specific information, including the monitoring and evaluation of injury and return to sport data longitudinally, monitor injury status and its impact on performance.
4	Facilitate the collection of athlete specific information, including the monitoring and evaluation of injury and return to sport data longitudinally, monitor injury status and its impact on performance.
5	Facilitate a multi-disciplinary team approach to injury management and prevention.  Develop and monitor medical interventions in line with technical demands and specific skill requirements relevant to the varying disciplines within the sport.
6	Facilitate a multi-disciplinary team approach to injury management and prevention. Follow FIFA/ AFC guidelines for sports injury management and as well concussion injury management.
7	Stay updated with WADA guidelines. Educate players for Dope control and make sure the medicine and supplements used by players are dope free. Apply for TUE from AFC/ FIFA if as and when required.
8	Submit medical report on weekly basis to the medical department. Report to head of medical department

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine - essential
• Experience working in sport - minimum 2 Years essential.
• Evidence of deep knowledge of athlete screening, injury profiling and injury management pathways within an elite athlete population essential
• Evidence of working with junior and/or senior national level athletes essential Working with multiple sports desirable
• Working in a recognized sports and/or high-performance institute environment within a multi- disciplinary team desirable
