A supporting role within the AIFF responsible for assisting the continuous development of elite refereeing in India. In conjunction with the Head of Refereeing, the management of elite referees to deliver the required performance for the Competitions. The postholder will be responsible for the management of the AIFF assessors group operating at the elite level and will contribute towards assessor training and development. In addition, the postholder will deputize for the Head of Refereeing as and when required.
India has initiated an elite development plan which is aimed at (a) growing refereeing standards at the elite level and (b) identifying and preparing future referees to operate at the elite level. The postholder will be expected to positively contribute toward the implementation and roll-out of the elite development plan.
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Providing management support on a day-to-day basis to assist the development of elite referees
- Assist the Head of Refereeing regarding the appointment of match officials to ISL, I-League, and other professional matches
- Oversee, develop and train assessors who operate within the professional game
- Working closely with the Head of Refereeing plan and co-ordinate referees training programs
- Provide statistical analysis of refereeing performances
- Within the referees department, contribute towards the development of future technology and e-learning platforms to aid the development of Indian refereeing
- Positively engage with external Federations, Leagues, AFC, etc. to aid the ongoing development of India refereeing
- Contribute towards the preparation and delivery of the pre-season referees/assessors conference
- Attendance and participation at referees workshops/camps throughout the season
- Attend games as necessary

Essential Qualification / Experience:
