Railways continued their sublime display in the ongoing Hero Senior Women's NFC 2019-20 with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Odisha in the first semi-final at the CHF Ground in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh today (September 22, 2019).
Kamala Devi (9', 60') and Mamta (23') scored to seal the victory for Railways whereas Jasoda Munda (88') scored one consolation goal for Odisha two minutes from the end of regulation time.
Odisha Goalkeeper Sasmita Parida's untimely tackle on Kamala invited an early spot-kick and Kamala stepped up to score her 19th goal of the tournament.
Mamta, who imposed constant threats from the flanks, finally saw her efforts bear fruit in the 23rd minute as she converted a well-placed cross from Ngoubi Devi.
On the hour-mark, Kamala Devi split past the defence to find the back of the net once again and give her side a hefty 3-0 lead.
Odisha substitute Jasoda Munda breached the Railways defence in the 88th minute, which only served as a consolation.

Manipur scored 5 goals in the second semifinal of Hero Senior Women's NFC 2019-20 to storm past Tamil Nadu at the CHF Ground in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh today (September 22, 2019).
Daya scored a hat-trick (14', 39', 84') while Bala (10') and Prameshwori (35') netted one apiece to confirm the 5-0 victory to advance to their sixth consecutive national championship final.
Winger Daya Devi, having outrun the defence, put in an inch-perfect cross for an onrushing Bala who did no mistake to open the scoring. In the process, she scored her 20th goal of the tournament to go level with Railways striker Kamala Devi.
Four minutes later, Daya breezed past the defender once again and found the net to double the lead.
The defending champions continued their attacking spree and an unselfish Bala rounded the defender to roll it to Prameshwori who was left completely unmarked by the harrowed Tamil Nadu defenders and the right-winger slammed their third goal.
Daya added another in the 39th minute before they headed to the changing room with a hefty 4-0 lead over the champions of the 2017-18 season.
Six minutes before the end of the regulation time, Daya completed her second consecutive hat-trick of the tournament.
Manipur will now face-off with red-hot Railways in the summit clash on September 24, 2019.
