NEW DELHI: Forty children and twelve officials participated in the inaugural Grassroots Football Festival conducted by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Regional Academy at the Fr. Agnel’s ground in Navi Mumbai.

The programme was aimed at children between the ages of six and eight and involved small sided games as well as drills for Technical Improvement.

 

The festival is the first of many such planned events which will be conducted at the same venue on a weekly basis. The event was well received by both the children and their parents who turned out in large numbers to watch the Festival.

 

Next Saturday's festival will be conducted with kids between the age group of 8-12 years.
