NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation in association with Punjab Football Association will conduct four Grassroots Courses in four different districts of Punjab, exclusive only for Women under the FIFA Live Your Goals campaign to extend the horizons of Women’s Football in India.

The first Grassroots Course commenced in Jalandhar district from November 22, 2016 to November 24, 2016 in a bid to increase the Women Grassroots Instructors. 29 members participated in the Course which was conducted by AIFF Grassroots Instructor Hardeep Saini. The participants organized a Grassroots Festival on November 24 and designed various Footballing grids for young kids to indulge in.

The second Grassroots Course kicked-off on November 26, 2016 and concluded today (November 28, 2016) in the Hoshiarpur district. Ludhiana and Jalandhar will conduct the remaining two Grassroots Course on December 9-11, 2016 and December 25-27, 2016 respectively.
