NEW DELHI: Classic Football Academy are all set to take on Sudeva Delhi FC at the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the Final of the Hero U-17 Youth Cup 2022-23.

Forty-nine teams from across the country participated in the Hero U-17 Youth Cup, with the Group Stage being held across 10 different venues. The top two teams from each group qualified for the Final Round (Round of 16), which is being held in Hyderabad.

Classic FA had qualified for the Final Round after topping Group D, while Sudeva Delhi did the same in Group H.

The side from Imphal have produced a fantastic display over their last seven matches, conceding only two, while netting 16, which also included a massive 7-0 drubbing of Punjab State FA U-17 Team in the Quarter-finals.

On the flip side, Sudeva have had an overwhelming attacking display, scoring 22 goals, while letting in five. The side from the capital had a close call in the Semi-finals, where they came out on top in the penalty-shootout (8-7) after the match ended 2-2 in extra time against Chennaiyin FC.

The match between Classic FA and Sudeva Delhi will kick-off at 2.30 PM IST at the Deccan Arena; the match will be streamed live on the Indian Football YouTube channel.
