Ms. Anju Turambekar, Head of Grassroots & Instructor, presented the Long Term Development-Roadmap to the Chhattisgarh Football Association leadership led by General Secretary Dr GD Gandhi and Assistant General Secretary Mr Mohan Lal.
“Grassroots development is the long terms process and the state association plays a vital role in the process of collaborating with various stakeholders. We are happy to initiate the Grassroots programme in Chhattisgarh and we thank them for their support,” said Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF.
“I have already stated that Grassroots development is the national priority. It’s important to have a Grassroots programme all across the country, every player and coach is interested. Whoever loves the game must get opportunity and exposure of the game at their level. I’m glad that we have developed the association with Chhattisgarh Football Association for the Grassroots Development,” said Isac Doru, Technical Director, AIFF.
"We are very optimistic and excited with the roadmap and this is a great opportunity for us to develop the game in a modern way in Chhattisgarh. We have a large network of coaches and administrators who are very passionate and will be engaging them productively to drive this programme forward," said Shri Ajay Chandrakar, President, Chhattisgarh Football Association.
"We have hosted multiple Nationals Championships including the last edition of the Santosh Trophy Zonals under the banner of the Chhattisgarh FA. With the implementation of the Grassroots Programme, we have huge potential in our state and we have been given certain objectives, which I am certain we will be able to achieve moving forward," said Dr Gandhi.
