NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Mizoram Football Association (MFA) joined hands and organised a Refereee Developoment Course for the 6th time on the 27th of June at Rajiv Gandhi Statium. Mr. R. Vanlalvena, MLA attened the opening function as chief guest.
The All India Football Federation took the initiative of sending two instructors C.R. Singh and Suprya Batacharya to conduct both theory and practical training sessions that will be from 9 am to 5:30 pm everday till Saturday, the 2nd of July.
The 50 trainees attending this course comprise of representatives from every district. Referee Instructor C.R. Singh stated at the function that the AIFF is planning to take the Referee Development Course to a new level and that Mizoram is one of the states that the AIFF favours to have desired results. He also added that as before in the previous Referee Development Courses, trainees will get our best efforts from the instructors and the trainees themselves will have to exhibit utmost dedication and perseverence so as to learn and progress from this course.
The chief guest Mr. R. Vanlalvena, a Member of Legislative Assembly also addressed the trainees to be deteremind to succeed; and that we want our Mizo referees to reach international levels, to be able to watch matches enforced by our people. And since it is easier to fail than to succeed, we need to be industrius and studius. And he also wished success to all the trainees.
