NEW DELHI: The Indian U-14 Men’s National Team lost 2-1 to hosts Tajikistan in their final match of the AFC U-14 Festival of Football in Dushanbe, Tajikistan today (May 30, 2016).

Hosts Tajikistan took the lead as early as the 3^rd minute to stun the Indian colts as a one versus one chance was converted with ease by the Tajik attack force to make the scoreline read 1-0 in their favour.

Tajikistan pressed the Indian colts and dominated possession in the midfield. The hosts doubled their lead in the 33^rd minute, before India halved their deficit in the 59^th minute when Eric blasted home from the penalty kick as the full-time scoreline read 2-1 in Tajikistan’s favour.
