NEW DELHI: Sixty eight children and twenty officials participated in the 11th AIFF Grassroots Festival conducted by the AIFF Regional Academy at the Fr. Agnel’s Ground, Navi Mumbai. 

The children - aged six to eight- were divided into eight teams and guided through a series of six activity grids, with three of them featuring ‘5 v 5’ matches and three focusing on technical ability using fun-based drills.

Adding colour to the novel initiatv e were the Parent volunteers donning the hat of festival officials alongside players of the Fr. Agnel’s college football teams. 

The next festival is scheduled for Saturday, (October 19, 2013) and will mark the completion of three months of the Grassroots Programme here in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
