India will host the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017. It will be the first time the country
hosts an event from the world football governing body. This is the third most
important event of the FIFA calendar, with 24 countries playing 52 games in 6
venues across India. It has been a key stepping stone in the careers of a large part of
world football stars, among them 16 senior World Champions and will be the most
important event ever to be hosted in Indian football history.

The tournament has a huge worldwide reach, with an estimated global audience
from almost 200 different countries, which is a golden opportunity to show India
throughout the world, its cities, culture and the capability of organizing an event of
the highest standards.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup will have a lasting influence in Indian Football, upgrading
the infrastructure, setting up proper game operations standards and improving the
overall quality of the game. Undoubtedly, the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 is
primed to be a game changer for Indian Football.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities: 
Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes in
collaboration with the architect lead as per the changing requirements of the
operational plan to maintain overall consistency and accurate documentation
of the project. 
This job description works as a reference of the responsibilities involved in this position. It is expected that the
employee will execute other reasonable tasks asked by the Tournament or Project Directors.  
? Study and understand the symbols and colour coding system for zoning &
operational logic as per FIFA requirements. 
? Convert existing plans into 2D Autocad plans for Stadiums and Training Sites
wherever necessary. 
? Conduct independent site inspections to identify discrepancies and other
important omissions in line with the process of proofing base the existing
base plan. 
? Attend meetings with other functional areas and participate in site
inspections to understand overlays requirements and operational logic. 
? To work closely with the Venue Overlays Officer in the process of scoping
requirements, preparing the Bill of Quantities and also mapping them to the
relevant plans to clearly indicate room layouts and build concepts. Maintain
notes, design calculations and other documentation (like drawings, bill of
materials, list of design parameters) for future reference. 

Personnel in Charge:
Will be agreed by the Overlays Manager once this hiring process ends and there is a
definite plan for this area. 

Candidate Profile: 
? Should be a student of Architecture or Btech (Civil).
? Should have his/her own system pre-loaded with any software required to 
perform the requisite duties.
? Should have working knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Office (Word, Powerpoint 
and Excel).
? Should be able to well versed with extracting measurements using CAD software.
? Should be able to read drawings and convert hand drawn drawings into CAD 
? Must be dedicated, meticulous and have an eye for attention to detail.
? Must be interested in understanding event planning and sports facilities 

Internship Period: 
? Interested candidates will need to ensure their availability from the third week of
July to the end of November. 
? Basis performance and availability, the candidate will be recalled to support in
the delivery of the functional area for the main tournament.
