NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) Elite Academy comprising of the U-19 National Team beat Goa Pro League team Wilred Leisure 2-0 in a Friendly Match at the Chowgule Sports and Fitness Ground.

SK Faiaz (19^th) and Daniel Lalhlimpuia (52^st) scored in each half to ensure the victory.

The U-19 Boys had recorded a double over VascoSC  over the previous two weekends.

These Colts under Head Coach Colm Joseph Toal had previously blanked the Chinese U-17 National Team 6-0 and 4-0 respectively in an Exposure Trip ahead of the U-19 AFC Qualifiers to be held in Doha in month of October.

The nucleus of the Squad had represented India in the Final Phase of the U-16 AFC Qualifiers in 2011 in Tehran where they had drawn 2-2 with the then U-16 Chinese National Team.
