Earlier in the Season, Mohan Raj had signed for Mumbai Tigers. Mohan Raj is Just 18 days shy of his 25^th birthday, but has already clocked up substantial playing time after initially starting his career with HAL. He enjoyed a very successful stint with Mohun Bagan where he won the Federation Cup in 2008, followed up with the ONGC Super Cup and runners-up in the I-League in 2009. He also won a hat-trick of Kolkata League titles with the Red and Gold. Last season with Pune FC he picked up yet another I-League runners-up medal and is determined to go one step further with Sporting Goa. The highlight of Mohan Raj’s career so far, was lifting the Nehru Cup with the Indian National Team in 2009. He has also proven leadership qualities, having been the Captain of the India U-18 Team that toured Germany and played against the Academy Teams of VfB Stuttgart, FC Augsburg and Munich 1860, before participating in the U-19 AFC Cup Tournament in Iran, in 2007. “Mohan Raj is a respected National Team Player.
