NEW DELHI: Striker Daniel Lalhimpuia’s strike enabled AIFF U-18 Elite Academy scipt a solitary goal win against Signal’s Goa at Signal Ground, Margao.

Playing their weekend practice match away from home, the Boys from the AIFF Elite Academy put on a very spirited and dominant display against their senior counterparts right from the kick-off.

The Academy boys were, however, not able to find the target despite the barrage of attacks on the rival citadel. The efforts, however, bore fruit late in the second half when Daniel headed in Malswamzuala’s cross in the 88^th minute.
