NEW DELHI: Indian National Senior Team’s Physical Trainer Mr. Pradip Dutta has been anointed as a FIFA Instructor. He is the first Indian to be among the Elite Panel of FIFA Conditioning Instructors.

“The fact that now I will be getting the opportunity to conduct Physical Training Courses across the Globe will further broaden my horizon,” Dutta informed www.the-aiff.com.

Pradip Dutta has been in the AFC Elite Panel of Instructors since 2006 apart from being with the Indian Hockey Team in the same capacity.

“Being the FIFA Instructor will help me get aware about FIFA’s philosophy. I have been an AFC Instructor since 2006 and am presently a Trainer with the Indian Senior National Team. I have also been lucky enough to have attended Raymond’s (Verheijen) Course, he stated. “So the next time I go to the National Camp, hopefully I will be able to put up the best physical training method for the Boys, which of course will suit the cause of the Country.”

He further added: “My first assignment with FIFA after being nominated by AFC was in Kuala Lumpur where we sat down to discuss the contents of the dedicated Module. FIFA is very much interested in improving Physical Training Education which is the need of the hour today where Players play too often.”
