NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation will conduct the Potential Instructors Evaluation cum Refresher Course in Cuttack, Odisha from May 31, 2015 to June 02, 2015.

The Course serves as a litmus test for top retired Referees who want to continue their stay in the Refereeing World and take up the role of Instructors to guide and nurture upcoming Referees at National level.

22 members from different States will be participating in this Course which will be conducted by Mr. Pradeep Nag, Vice Chairman AIFF Referees Committee, in assistance with Mr. K. Sankar, AFC Instructor and Referees Development Officer of AFC Referees Department and Goutam Kar, Director and Head Referees Department, AIFF.

“We want to evaluate whether retired Referees fit our bill to evolve as Instructors and train our National Referees. This Course will not only refresh their knowledge, but will also help them in self assessment of their skills as an instructor,” Kar told www.the-aiff.com.

“The Course is intended to keep the best, though retired, Referees engaged with the game through donning the role of a Referees instructor,” he added.
