NEW DELHI: Churchill Brothers SC has re-signed talismanic striker Odafa Okalie on a three year deal, a statement from the club informed.
Club Owner, Mr. Churchill Alemao welcomed back the Nigerian goal-machine after he ended his three year stint with Kolkata outfit Mohun Bagan.
Odafa had previously joined the Red Machines in the 2005-06 season and scored over 100 goals for the club before departing for Mohun Bagan at the end of the 2010-11 season.
Odafa captained Churchill Brothers Goa to their first I-League triumph in the 2008-09 season while also winning the Durand Cup twice during his previous stint at the Goan Club.
On an individual level, Odafa, fondly known has the 'Goal Machine' by his fans, has been the I-League's top scorer on three consecutive occasions, which was during the I-League 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2010-11 season.
Churchill Alemao was pleased to welcome back Odafa, “Odafa is a wonderful player who has brought tremendous joy to this club with his goals.”

Odafa said: “Churchill Brothers is like an extended family to me, I am really glad to return home. I will give my best and hope to win many trophies here again.”
