NEW DELHI: Mr. Praful Patel, President, All India Football Federation has congratulated Mr. Manavendra Singh the newly elected President of the Rajasthan Football Association.
Mr. Singh was declared elected unopposed as the President of the Rajasthan FA for a four-year term by Dr. Rekha Gupta, the Election officer & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Rajasthan, after elections for the Rajasthan Football Association were held at Rajasthan Sports Council Meeting Hall, SMS Stadium Jaipur on August 27 as per the orders of the High Court of Rajasthan.
Mr. Patel advised Mr. Singh to start Leagues for all age groups in the State and hoped that a Team from Rajasthan would soon be playing in top tier Leagues in the Country.
The elections were conducted by Election officer under the overall supervision of Justice V.S Dave (Retired), the High Court appointed Arbitrator and observers Lt. Col BMR Mehta (Retd) from AIFF, Mr Subrat Sen (Sports Council of Rajasthan and Mr Ramavtar Jakhar (Rajasthan State Olympic Association).
Mr. Liaqat Ali was elected Hony Secretary for the first and third year of the term respectively, while Mr Dilip Singh Shekhawat will be the Honorary Secretary for the second & fourth year of the term.
Meanwhile, Mr. Manoj Sharma was declared elected as the Treasurer for the first and third year of the term, while Mr Mahender Singh Bijarniya will be the Treasurer for the second & fourth year of the term.
