NEW DELHI: After losing narrowly against Pakistan in their opening match of the SAFF U-15 Championship, the Indian U-15 National Team will lock horns against Bhutan U-15s in their last match of the group stage at the ANFA Complex in Kathmandu, Nepal tomorrow (October 29, 2018).
It is a must win match for the Indian Colts as both India and Bhutan have suffered defeats at the hands of Pakistan and with both teams yet to open their points tally, a win would see them through to the elimination stage.
“As we are preparing for a long-term development of players, we are looking forward to this competition as an opportunity to test ourselves and prepare accordingly for future.", said Head Coach of the Indian U15s Shuvendu Panda.
“However, we are confident ahead of the clash against Bhutan and will play to the best of our abilities in an attempt to win”
The semi-finals of the SAFF U-15 Championship are slated for November 01, 2018 while the final is on November 03, 2018.
