MUMBAI: As our tribute to the “indomitable spirit” of the Blue Tigresses, Indian Football have compiled a journal for all fans and stakeholders to follow, and gain in depth knowledge about the Tigresses.

The Tigresses are role models for all, having overcome a lot of sociological barriers in their quest to pursue their dreams and take Indian Football forward together. The Blue Tigresses, at the moment, are leading a dream of 1.4 billion as they fight it out in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 being played simultaneously in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, and Pune.

As support for the Tigresses has flown in from all quarters, All India Football Federation President Mr. Praful Patel mentioned: I need to salute the indomitable spirit of our Blue Tigresses, many of whom have overcome all sociological and personal roadblocks to make it this big. It is in you that we trust, and our support will always continue to be by your side. You make us dream.” 2022 is, in fact the year of women’s football in India, with AIFF Playing host to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup from October onwards.
