NEW DELHI: The Indian U-16 National Team lost 2-5 against the Indian U-19 National Team in a practice match on April 13, 2017 at the Benaulim Ground in Goa.

The Indian U-19 National Team turned up the >th minute, when an indirect free-kick fumbled into the U-16’s net. In the 25^th minute, the Indian U-19s doubled their lead and an impressive goal by Edmund in the 36^th minute made it 3-0 in their favour.

Edmund added another in the 43^rd minute as the half-time scoreline read 4-0 in India U-19s favour.

Changing over, Minga added more gloss to the scoreline in the 60^th minute. The U16s tried to make a comeback and goals by Vikram in the 70^th minute and Harpreet in the 71^st boosted them with hope.

But with time their enemy and the difference enormous the spirited Colts could not stage a dramatic comeback as the full-time scoreline read 5-2 in India U19s favour.
