NEW DELHI: The draws for the AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers, which took place at the AFC House, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia on Friday (June 5, 2015) clubbed India with Iran, Lebanon and Bahrain in Group E of the West Zone.

The qualifying matches will be played from September 12, 2015 to September 20, 2015 in Iran, who are hosts of Group E West Zone.

India have also successfully won the bid to host the 2016 AFC U-16 Finals. With reference to the Championship, the AFC in a letter to all its Member Associations declared India as the host Nation of the AFC U-16 Championship 2016 Finals.
