NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation U-14 Regional Academy based in Goa pummelled Marina HS and U-16 Father Agnel’s Pilar teams 6-0 in two practice matches over the weekend at the Chowgule Sports Complex in Goa.
Both Team A and B netted half a dozen goals to script impressive wins in their 10th practice game.
While it was all about Boris Singh’s four goals either side of halftime for Team B lining up against U-16 Father Agnel’s Pilar boys, a second half hattrick from Md. Shahjahan stole the show for Team A in two one-sided encounters.
Other scorers for Team A were Shubham Sarangi who notched up a brace scoring in each half, while Sameer Kashyap and Dingku Sharma found the back of the net for Academy Team B.
The Boys, preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in three years time, improved on their previous weeks’ showing where team A coached by Francisco Bruto lost to Chandigarh Football Academy 1-3 while Team B coached by Sajid Dar were held to a one-all draw by Father Agnels School, Pilar.
