NEW DELHI: AIFF U19 boys went down to Goa Police by 1-2 in a practice match played at the Artificial Stadium, Fatorda in Goa yesterday (December 17, 2016).

AIFF boys opened the scoreline just in the 10th minute when Amal blasted the long corner, taken by Raghav, into the back of the net.

15 minutes later, Goa Police drew a parity from a long cross down the right flank.

8 minutes to the halftime, the opponent team scored their second. The striker received a ball from the left, dribbled past the fellow defender and smothered his first goal to put his team in the driver's seat.

After the changeover, AIFF boys went very close to scoring but the opponent defenders thwarted their effort every time. In the last minute of the regulation time, Hrishi unleashed the ball to an onrushing Edmund, but the opposition goalie saved it from a shooting distance.
