FICCI GOAL 2015 TO KICK-OFF ON FEBRUARY 12

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and All India Football Federation (AIFF) have confirmed that FICCI GOAL 2015 will take place February 12-13, 2015 at the FICCI Federation House in Delhi. This will be the third edition of India’s largest International Convention on the business of Football. The Conference aims to provide a platform for relevant global and domestic industry stakeholders to discuss the ‘Beautiful Game’ in India offering a key focus on the various business opportunities unfolding along with the rapid growth of the Indian Football ecosystem.

FICCI GOAL is a pioneering initiative established by FICCI and AIFF as way to support the development and sustainability of the Indian Football industry and promote strategic dialogue around the game. 

“GOAL 2015” will look to build off of the success of its previous two editions where filled to capacity crowds attended the high profile sessions and networking events.

Many key influencers and organisations tasked with shaping the present and future of the game in India will be participating at FICCI GOAL including the Government of India, FIFA, AIFF, Hero I-League, Hero Indian Super League, Premier League and the Asian Football Development Project. 

A list of confirmed participants includes Mr. Praful Patel (AIFF), Mr. Kushal Das (AIFF), Mr. Sunando Dhar (I-league), Mr. Tim Vine (Premier League), Mr. Sameer Manchanda (Delhi Dynamos), Mr. Joy Bhattacharjya (2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup), and Mr. Urs Zanitti (AFDP) among many others. A series of timely and relevant topics will be discussed during the two day conference including:

a. Indian Super League – Is ISL on the way to become IPL of Indian Football?

b. Globalisation of the European League – What This Means for India

Mr. Sanjiv Paul, Chairman of the FICCI Sports Committee and Managing Director of TATA Metaliks said: “We are certainly looking forward to organising and hosting FICCI GOAL 2015.
