FC Goa will look to keep their semi-finals hopes alive when they play host to NorthEast United FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Friday. The hosts have had a torrid season so far and will desperately be looking for a win as their last match ended in a 2-1 defeat to Kerala Blasters FC. However, the Gaurs won’t have the services of Gregory Arnolin and Richarlyson, who have been ruled out through suspensions. Going into the match without their top goal-scorer Emiliano Alfaro on account of a suspension, NorthEast United FC are also desperate to bring their campaign back on track, having of late run into a bad patch with three consecutive losses at home with the last one coming against Mumbai City FC. Thus, a tightly contested matchup of Hero Indian Super League 2016 is in the offing on Friday evening, with both teams seeking maximum points.
