NEW DELHI: Railways beat Odisha 3-0 in a Group II quarterfinal match of the National Women’s Football Championship played at JCT Sports Complex, Chohal.

The first-half was the evenly contested with Railways managing to keep Odisha at bay on a few occasions. After a barren first-half, Railways surged into the lead when Kamala Devi converted from the spot. Kamala followed it up doubling the score in the 74^th minute. Kamala also had a hand in the last goal when she provided the assist for Kavita Devi to score.

In the other match of the day, Pondicherry ran past Jharkhand 4-1 at the SBBS Complex.
