NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Elite Academy Boys went down to Airtel I-League heavyweights Salgaocar Reserve Team 1-4 in a Friendly match at Salgaocar’s Bits Pilani Training Ground.

A barren first half saw the U-19 Boys – weakened by a number of players joining their respective I-League clubs coupled with some leaving for examinations --  concede four goals after the break with stopper-back Pawan Kumar pulling one back in the 89^th minute.

The Boys, who recently played I-League leaders Bengaluru FC on the road, play five-time League winners Dempo next.
