All India Football Federation’s Elite Academy came back from behind to register an impressive 3-2 victory over Margao XI in a Friendly Match. The Elite Academy consists of U-19 boys who are presently preparing for the AFC U-19 Qualifiers to be held later this year.

Head Coach Colm Joseph Toal said: “It was our toughest match so far. We were down 1-2 at the interval but it was very encouraging to see the boys overturn the deficit and register a 3-2 victory. It rained all throughout.”

Margao XI were represented by I-League Players as well as Players who play in the Goa Professional League.

Daniel Lalhlimpuia, Udanta Singh and Zodingliana scored one apiece for the Elite Academy.
