NEW DELHI: The AIFF U-19 Colts went down fighting 1-2 against Dempo SC of the Goa Pro League at the Artificial Turf Ground in Fatorda, Goa on November 07, 2016.

Two goal by Dempo SC in the first half itself proved enough for the opponents even after the AIFF Colts pulled one back in the second half.

Dempo took the lead in the 1^st minute itself as complacency cost the Colts when a whipped in free-kick was made contact with and ended in the back of the net to give Dempo the lead.

The Goan outfit doubled their lead in the 30^th minute after Kishan failed to stop his man from progressing onto goal, resulting in an easy chance for Dempo which was taken by both hands to make the scoreline read 2-0.

After the half-time scoreline read 2-0 in Dempo’s favour, the AIFF Colts upped their ante and found the net in the 57^th minute when Lalliansanga tapped home a Hrishi corner kick.

But despite pulling a goal back and pressing Dempo, the Colts were not able to find the decisive equalizer and at the end of time the full-time scoreline read 2-1 in Dempo’s favour.
