NEW DELHI: On the fourth day of the 2022-23 season of the Hero Futsal Club Championship at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here on Sunday, February 12, 2023, Mohammedan Sporting outplayed Minerva Academy FC in the second half to win 7-4.
Suvo Khatoora starred for the Kolkata side, scoring two goals in the 28th and 29th minute. The other goals were scored by Sanjay Sharma (18’), Nawyed Danish (19’), Amit Shaw (25’), Shamshad Ali (31’) and Sandeep Oraw (35’). Minerva were up 3-2 at the break but conceded five goals in the second half to lose the match. Abhay Gurung (7’), Krishna Vasudev Gawas (14’), Sandesh Malpote (15’) and captain Nikhil Mali (30’) scored for them.
Bengaluru Football Club defeated Sports Odisha 6-2. Ashik Adhikari was the hero for Bengaluru with a brace (29, 32). The other goals were scored by Clarence Fernandes (6’), F Lalhmingchhuanga (18’), Vinith Venkatesh (24’) and Nirmanyu Singh Atri (38’). Raisen Tudu (2’) and D Sanjay (25’) were the scorers for Sports Odisha.
Speed Force beat Techtro Swades United FC 8-5. Speed Force footballer Ibrahim Ali’s three goals (6’, 7’, 19’) were the highlight of the match. Zahid Mohiuddin (10’, 35’) and Mohammed Ahtesham Ali (15’, 16’) scored a couple each for the winners and Shaik Umair scored one (12’). Captain Renedy Meitei scored two (5’, 18’) for Techtro Swades, while Ankit Singh (11’), Harsh Vardhan (19’) and Janio Fernandes (28’) scored one each.
