AMRITSAR, PUNJAB: Chhattisgarh registered an easy 4-1 win over Madhya Pradesh in the concluding match of Group F qualifiers of the 78th National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy at the GNDU Sports Complex on Monday, November 25, 2024.
Chhattisgarh, who finished with three points in the three-team group, however, failed to qualify. Odisha have already qualified for the final rounds from the group with six points.
The winners, who led by a goal at half time, scored through Avishek Kunjam, Akhilesh Kumar Uikey, Purvansh Kumar Sahu and M Sai Raj. Rohan Invati scored for Madhya Pradesh.
Out of the nine groups, eight have already been completed. The teams who have qualified are: Jammu and Kashmir (Group A), West Bengal (C), Manipur (D), Meghalaya (E), Odisha (F), Tamil Nadu (G), Kerala (H), Rajasthan (I). The Group B will kick off on Tuesday.

Group B (Amritsar): Chandigarh vs Delhi (10.30 am); Uttarakhand vs Haryana (2.30 pm).
