NEW DELHI: AIFF U-19 boys were held to a 1-1 draw by Ramhlun North FC in their second match of the Great Sports Independence Day Cup 2017. After conceding an early goal in the first minute of the match, AIFF boys finally, netted the equaliser in the 78th minute when Lalawampuia's header went past the opposing goalkeeper.

Ramhlun North FC hit the gas in the first minute itself to go ahead against the defending U-18 I-League champions. The AIFF boys bustled to find the equaliser but they couldn't succeed until the 78th minute where Lalawampuia's header hit the back of the net to leave the Indian dugout much relieved.

AIFF U-19 boys are scheduled to lock their horns with Bethlehem Vengthlang FC in their third match of the tournament on August 4, 2017.
