MARGAO: AIFF U-19 boys overwhelmed FC Bardez by a margin of 3-2 at the artificial turf of the Fatorda Ground in Goa yesterday.

Amal Das brought down an opponent striker inside the 18-yard box in the 24th minute and Koko did no mistake converting the resulting spot kick.

AIFF boys took eighteen more minutes to equalise when Zama converted a cutting-edge pass from Pratap.

The boys went into the dressing room with level pegging.

On the hour-mark, Namgyal Bhutia tried to clear the ball but the onrushing opponent striker encashed the opportunity to take the lead once again.

Twelve minutes later,  Minga made a diagonal run receive the pass from Namgyal Bhutia and slotted it home calmly to cancel out FC Bardez's lead once again.

Five minutes to the final whistle, Parvesh Bhutiya converted a long ball to take the lead for the first time.

The defenders saw off the danger to clinch a nail-biting win finally.
