NEW DELHI: The AIFF Elite Academy U-16 played out a draw 1-1 with the U-20 side of Rosary College, Goa on 13^th June. Rosary College took the lead in the 15^th before Sailo scored with a delectable volley in the 55^th to restore parity.

Rosary was the better team off the blocks as they began with a series of attacks culminating in the opener. But AIFF slowly asserted their dominance in the midfield as the game settled down.

The teams came out of the break with Rosary still leading but the momentum had clearly shifted and the equaliser finally arrived through Sailo’s boots. The team upped the ante to find the winner but it remained elusive as Danu and Givson’s attempts were saved and while Harpreet’s effort struck the upright.
