All India Football Federation’s U-15 Regional Football Academy presently preparing for U-16 International Tournaments will play Santos in a Friendly Match at the Pailan World School Campus on Tuesday (June 4). 

Santos who are a Kolkata District Premier Division Team will be fielding their U-19 Players in the match. Such matches stay a part of the Curriculum of all AIFF Regional Academy batches.

Head Coach Gautam Ghosh, a former India International, felt such matches provide the “right impetus to the boys.”

“Such matches are part of our ongoing mental and physical preparation both on and off the field. Results in such matches stay immaterial. The idea is to provide as much match practice to the boys,” he said.

The Friendly match will kick-off at 4pm.
