NEW DELHI: The AIFF Elite Academy U-16 won 5-1 against Rosary Higher Secondary, Goa played on an artificial turf on June 30. The teams went into the break with AIFF ahead by 3-1 before a couple of more goals reflected as the final score line.

AIFF began on a positive note with two goals within the first 12 minutes itself before Rosary pulled one back. But AIFF hit back immediately to make it 3-1. A similar pattern of early goals was followed in the 2^nd half with the boys striking twice in the space of 10 minutes.

Shanon’s double was the highlight of the day with Ridge, Sailo and Hasan being the other scorers.
