NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation’s Elite Academy registered a convincing 6-1 victory over Sesa Goa’s Professional Team in a friendly match in Goa. The Elite Academy boys presently training under Colm Joseph Toal, Head Coach, Youth Development, led 2-0 at the interval.

The two Teams had played a goalless draw in the last practice match which was played the previous week.

“Our performance was of a very high level,” Toal told www.the-aiff.com. “We are hoping to continue this level of performance in the last month of the Academy Year,” he maintained.

Practice matches are a part of the Curriculum of AIFF Academies.

For the AIFF Elite Academy Sumit Ghosh scored a brace while Pawan Kumar, Naro Hari, SK Faiaz and Raja Rawat scored one apiece.
