AIFF condoles the death of LR Natarajan

NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation condoles the demise of veteran referee L.R. Natarajan.

Natarajan, who has been on the FIFA Panel for 15 years, breathed his last on Thursday morning. He passed away at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren.

The octogenarian, popularly known as LRN by his kith and kin and friends was revered across refereeing circles in the country for his vast knowledge of the Laws of the Game.

Natarajan was also the founder/editor of the Referees Magazine ‘Bombay Refereeing Association’ which is still in vogue.
