NEW DELHI: At a time when the challenges posed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are felt throughout the world of football, the club and academies are also struggling to survive financially.
To support and show solidarity with the club and academies, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has decided to waive off its share of the Centralized Registration Fee (CRS Fee) for player registrations, renewals, and transfers for the Season 2021-22. CRS Fee waiver is one way the AIFF is trying to reduce the burden of the football clubs and academies in these challenging times. The effort made by the AIFF to offer support to the football stakeholders is crucial in these times to stay relevant and emerge stronger from this crisis.
Further, the AIFF is pleased to inform that the Season Dates for 2021-22 are as follows:
For Men:
Season Dates: 9 June 2021 to 31 May 2022.
First Registration Period: 9 June 2021 to 31 August 2021.
Second Registration Period: 1 January 2022 to 31 January 2022.
For Women:
Season Dates: 9 July 2021 to 31 May 2022.
First Registration Period: 9 July 2021 to 30 September 2021.
Second Registration Period: 1 January 2022 to 31 January 2022.
Registration Period for Amateur Players (Men and Women): 9 June 2021 to 31 May 2022.
Lastly, the AIFF amended the AIFF Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (AIFF RSTP) and Rules Governing the Procedure of the AIFF Players’ Status Committee (Procedural Rules) in compliance with the FIFA RSTP.
